The Fast Easiest Way To The First Page Of Google
Money alone can’t buy Google rank, but with a little time and strategy you can improve your position on the search engine results page (SERP) without spending a dime.
What is Google RankBrain?
DATE GOOGLE CONFIRMED EXISTENCE OF RANKBRAIN: OCTOBER 26TH, 2015
RankBrain is a component of Google’s core algorithm which uses machine learning (the ability of machines to teach themselves from data inputs) to determine the most relevant results to search engine queries. Pre-RankBrain, Google utilized its basic algorithm to determine which results to show for a given query. Post-RankBrain, it is believed that the query now goes through an interpretation model that can apply possible factors like the location of the searcher, personalization, and the words of the query to determine the searcher’s true intent. By discerning this true intent, Google can deliver more relevant results.
The machine learning aspect of RankBrain is what sets it apart from other updates. To “teach” the RankBrain algorithm to produce useful search results, Google first “feeds” it data from a variety of sources. The algorithm then takes it from there, calculating and teaching itself over time to match a variety of signals to a variety of results and to order search engine rankings based on these calculations.
Don’t Forget SEO
For Navigational Searches
What is a navigational search?
When searchers use a commercial web search engine to go to a specific website, the search query is classified as a navigational search. Navigational searches are more common than one might imagine. In fact, you probably perform navigational searches without realizing it.
For example, suppose you want to go to eBay to do a little shopping. How do you arrive at eBay’s home page? Do you:
Go to the address bar in your preferred web browser (Firefox, Explorer, etc.) and type in: www.ebay.com?
Go to Google and type in the word “ebay” (without the quotes) and click on the first link in the search engine results page (SERP)?
Use the search function in your browser toolbar and type in the word “ebay” (without the quotes) and click on the first link in the SERP?
Look through your bookmarks and select the eBay option?
If you do numbers 2 and/or 3, you have performed a navigational search on a web search engine. You are using Google, or your preferred web search engine, to navigate to eBay’s home page.
Navigational keywords are the words, phrases, abbreviations, and portions of domain names and URLs that web searchers use to go your website via the commercial web search engines. For any SEO project, you should always make it easy for searchers to find your official company website. Think about it—when people perform navigational searches, they want to go to your website. Why would anyone make that task difficult for web searchers to accomplish?

Search engine marketing is a no-brainer. Every new year brings greater opportunities for search engine marketing (SEM). As the volume of search queries fielded by Google grows, the more chances you have to drive traffic to your website through the paid and organic results.
Use Google Shopping. True—a greater percentage of product searches start on Amazon, and we certainly encourage ecommerce advertisers to list and promote their products there. But Google Shopping is a must, too. Millions of consumers using Google to actively look for products every day. Get yours in front of them!
Over a third of Google search queries are 4+ words long. Longer search queries are narrower search queries, and narrower search queries are less competitive—in terms of both the paid and the organic search results. That’s why long-tail keywords are crucial to SEM success. They drive valuable traffic, and it’s feasible to rank for them.
